General Burnside Island State Park

His grave is at the site of the Dr. Thomas Walker State Historic Site. Stephen Foster used the Rowan family's mansion as inspiration for his poem, "My Old Kentucky Home." Costumed guides walk visitors through the mansion and formal gardens.
